Howie passed early this morning due to continued complications of prostate cancer. Despite the fact his last few days have been painful physically, as far as mentally and emotionally he was the same hound as when I first adopted him in Oct. 2011. Affectionate and loving humans more than even other dogs. With pets, rubs, and leaning on me until I almost fall over being his favorite past times.
