Paddy Boy was our first retired racer, the first dog we fostered (and failed). What a wonderful first time experience watching him transform from a retiring athlete into a pet, our boy.

It was a joy to watch him run. His enthusiasm for a walk was infectious. I loved that he was just enough of a Velcro dog.

We miss the "welcome home" Paddy dance, and his wagging little stump of a tail. Since our recent loss of Hey Babie he had just begun quietly occupying the middle spot on the bed at night. We miss that, too.

Paddy Boy left us too soon. Our sweetheart of a guy, we were truly blessed.
