I’m a stair climbing pro!

It’s me, Anna, again to tell everyone that I mastered the stairs on my first try. That’s right— on the first try! Foster mom said that was a first in her experience! I was a little nervous going up but I powered through and got a lot of “good girls” from foster mom. I am a good girl!

Miss Personality

I left the room for a few minutes and came back to see half the toys in Anna’s crate. She was very proud of herself!

We’ve had a big breakthrough! Anna has been spending more and more time out of her crate. She loves being wherever I am so I think she’ll make the sweetest little Velcro hound!

She’s also discovered kitty cats, but learned today she’ll get a bop on her nose if she gets too close.

Sweet little Anna Banana

Anna is becoming more comfortable and seeking out more attention from me. She still prefers to hang out in her crate, but since it’s in the living room she can still keep an eye on things. If I walk into another room she quietly likes to follow me. She’s very sweet!

Anna is a wonderful little lady with the most perfect four white feet. In due time she will make a great addition to your pack! And don’t worry— Anna sleeps quietly all night and crates well.

Getting the hang of things...

Boy, it’s been a busy couple of days. I loaded up in a hauler one night and boom...I was in Nashville the next morning! I even made the long journey with my littermates Abbey (who foster mom said is my twin) and Alfie (he’s just a silly boy).

I’ve been mostly hanging out in my crate because it’s important to get my bearings first. I love being outside though! I sniff, sniff, and sniff some more! Some police cars drove by last night with their sirens blaring and I didn’t even flinch. Even though I’m a reserved gal, I’m super brave!

I really like hanging out with my foster siblings because they’re showing me how to be a greyt pet! So far I’ve mastered eating all of my meals, only going potty outside, and walking on wood floors. Foster mom said I need to work on walking in a straight line while on leash though.

Welcome to Nashville, Anna!

Anna is a sweet, somewhat shy 16 month old hound who came to us straight from the farm (meaning she’ll never race). She’s already mastered walking into the elevator and we’ll plan to tackle the stairs soon. Baby steps, right?
