Silly Rhonda

Sometimes Rhonda will sit for a minute in the middle of laying down or getting up. She's thinking deep thoughts, like "when's dinner?"

Here she's helping the resident hooman at work. Roaching is helping, right??

Rhonda asks her foster brother "whassuuuuup with you taking my bed?!"

Going for a walk

This is Rhonda's "Please Take Me for a Walk" look. It's very effective.

This is a pretty common sight while taking Rhonda for a walk. She loves to look at all the little moving things - birds, squirrels, pinwheels. Here she's particularly interested in a neighbor cat. She's trying to work on not staring so much.

Besides staring, she does very well on walks. She is used to eliminating on leash and she likes to stick by whoever is walking her during walks.

And of course once she's home, it's time to nap again.

I LOVE Toys!

Rhonda loves playing with toys, especially ones with squeakers! She likes to toss, chomp on and romp with them, but doesn't shred them or rip them up.

She likes to try out every one to see which is the best.

Maybe THIS one!

I got them all!

Playing with all of those toys makes me very sleepy...

Enjoying my new foster home..

Rhonda is enjoying watching the Chewy.Com commercial. She is adjusting to her new foster home.....she is definitely a Velcro and sticks very close to her human friends. She loves her treats and enjoys going for walks. Her leg is doing very well and she is able to easily walk up and down outside steps.

I like my walks

Just wanted to let you know that I am very good doggie. I like to go for walks and look at how patiently I wait in front of the door before I go outside. I know how to wait until my foster mom says OK before I go out the door. I’m also a very good girl inside the house. I didn’t complained all night; I didn’t complain in the morning;I didn’t even complain when Daisy got her brekkie before me! AND I didn’t complain when my foster mom went upstairs to take a shower!!!

Here I am waiting for the OK to come inside. I’m walking very good on my hurt leg too! I’ve been very good at doing my business on the leash.

I’m a cool doggie

Just wanted to let you know that I’m a cool doggie—I listened to the jazz groove radio station last night and I didn’t fuss one time. Check you later, daddy-o.

Chillin’ in my crate

I’m hard to see but I promise I’m in the picture! I’m spending a lot of time in my crate so I can rest my leg while it heals. Sometimes I complain about being in my crate, but then nothing happened so I’m doing that less and less. I’m learning to “wait” to come out of my crate too. I also wait to eat my food, although that’s a hard one ‘cause I really like my food! I can also wait to go out the door for my walks too. I’m learning a lot!

My new foster home!

I’m hanging out with the resident hound Daisy in my new foster home. I love toys but my foster mom says I have to be careful while my legs heals not to get too excited. I also stole my foster mom’s ball of yarn, but I learned quickly that was a no no!

I’m taking really slooooow walks so I can start to use my foot. There are so many interesting things outside and I can’t wait until I can romp around!
