Settling in

Rudder is doing very well still. No accidents in the house still, he's very well behaved. We heard he had some accidents in a house visit but we don't have any other dogs at the moment so maybe that has something to do with it. He sleeps through the night and doesn't try to wake us up early.

He is still very energetic and loves playing with toys. He's learning to play fetch with a tennis ball in the back yard, he seems to like that a lot.

Handsome Fawn Boy

Rudder has settled into his new foster home very nicely. No accidents at all, and while he's very inquisitive he knows and listens to "no" well. We've found he LOVES looking at his reflection and who can blame him? He's gorgeous. He is also a very big love bug! Loves all the cuddles and scratches you'll give him.

Happy fella

Rudder is learning to tolerate crate time but doesn't like to be left alone in there while you're in the house.

Rudder Relaxing

Rudder and his foster buddies Gina (black) and Pawsy (little). All are getting along well inside and outside. Rudder was a very active guy the first 36 hours but is now an excellent house guest. He’s now eating well in his crate. He’s been sleeping in den on a bed next to Gina’s bed He does get up in the night if I get up otherwise he sleeps all night. He loves snuggles and head rubs. He has a very short attention span for toys but has not killed any.
