Relaxing morning

Relaxing on this cloudy morning. So glad I don’t have to go to this place called “work” the humans go to. I get to stay home and sleep. :D

Labor Day fun with my foster sis

We had fun in the sun! Catching some rays while we played.

Rooing challenge

I was challenged to a rooing contest to see who could be the loudest. I think we all know who won that challenge... ME!

Chillin’ with my new foster sis

I met my new foster sister today, she is just a year older then me. She’s showing me how to chill out at the new house.

Tongue out kinda night

I’m actually asleep in this pic. Foster dad snuck up on me and took this after I had a nice dinner and was relaxing.

Catching a few rays

With the mild temps I took advantage of a potty break to stretch out and work on my tan. Everyone is happy to see me start “come out of my shell.” I’m not in a shell but I do like to get to know you before I unleash all my charm.

Home Visit!

I went on a thing called a home visit over the weekend. Me and two other friends went for a ride and then then got to show off at a potential adopters home. My two friends poppy and noorvic had been on these before and said it was fun. I tried to be calm about the whole situation but was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing. By the time I figured out that this was a fun thing and warmed up, the family had decided to pick both of my friends. Saturday wasn’t my day but was good practice for me to find my forever home.

A personality starts to emerge

I was a little skittish my first few days, but can you blame me ?

After all, last Friday I woke up on a greyhound farm and in the matter of a few days I had moved inside to become a house dog not to mention getting fixed. I’m starting to enjoy stuffies and want to take them everywhere with me. I’m a very curious girl but don’t like a lot of commotion. Foster dad says I’m going on a home visit tomorrow. Don’t know what that is but I’m sure I’ll find out.

Showing off my scar

Yesterday I went to the vet and when I woke up I had this scar on my underside. Foster dad said it was to spay me. I’m not sure what it was but I was out of it yesterday. I’m much better today and have resumed being a curious girl that is trying to figure out this retirement thing.

Resting up

I know I just woke up a couple hours ago but foster dad said we are going to a thing called a meet and greet today and I need to get more rest. I’m a good girl and listened to what he says and grabbed the biggest most comfortable bed on the floor. Come see me from 1-3 today at Nashville pet products in Spring Hill.

Wow! What a day!

Little did I know when I woke up on the farm yesterday what the day had in store for me. I was whisked away for a ride and ended in a strange land called Nashville. Then the fun really started. I had a nice bath and had my nails done. Then I had a checkup from a nice doctor. She did lots of poking and prodding but I stayed calm and collected. After that I went to a a new house. At first I was worried but I met some other greyhounds that told me the humans here do a good job of keeping food in front of us and we get plenty of time to relax. At first I paced a lot but then I settled down for a long nap
