A personality starts to emerge

I was a little skittish my first few days, but can you blame me ?

After all, last Friday I woke up on a greyhound farm and in the matter of a few days I had moved inside to become a house dog not to mention getting fixed. I’m starting to enjoy stuffies and want to take them everywhere with me. I’m a very curious girl but don’t like a lot of commotion. Foster dad says I’m going on a home visit tomorrow. Don’t know what that is but I’m sure I’ll find out.

Showing off my scar

Yesterday I went to the vet and when I woke up I had this scar on my underside. Foster dad said it was to spay me. I’m not sure what it was but I was out of it yesterday. I’m much better today and have resumed being a curious girl that is trying to figure out this retirement thing.

Resting up

I know I just woke up a couple hours ago but foster dad said we are going to a thing called a meet and greet today and I need to get more rest. I’m a good girl and listened to what he says and grabbed the biggest most comfortable bed on the floor. Come see me from 1-3 today at Nashville pet products in Spring Hill.

Wow! What a day!

Little did I know when I woke up on the farm yesterday what the day had in store for me. I was whisked away for a ride and ended in a strange land called Nashville. Then the fun really started. I had a nice bath and had my nails done. Then I had a checkup from a nice doctor. She did lots of poking and prodding but I stayed calm and collected. After that I went to a a new house. At first I was worried but I met some other greyhounds that told me the humans here do a good job of keeping food in front of us and we get plenty of time to relax. At first I paced a lot but then I settled down for a long nap
