Still Waiting on You ...

Hey everybody! Vail here!

I'm giving you my sad face. I'm still waiting on someone to give me my forever home.

I'm a real good boy. I don't potty in the house. I don't tear up things in my crate. I am a REAL good eater! I get along with the resident dogs (never a growl or snarl).

I am very happy and I really love people.

See ... I posted a picture of me sleeping next to my buddy Jackson. I can share a bed with no problems.

So, what's it going to be? Need a happy friend? That'd be me!

Meetin and Greetin

Hey everybody! Vail here!

I'm in a new foster home since my last blog post. I just went in and made myself at home. I'm living with 2 greyhounds and a beagle. We get along just fine ... no growls or snarls from anyone so far!

In the picture above, you can see an excited me ... I'm on the way to a meet and greet. These are really fun for me. I LOVE people, and they all want to pet me! Wow!

And the next picture is me on the way home. I was beat. This meeting and greeting is HARD work.

I'm a happy and friendly guy, and I'm looking for someone who will give me my forever home. I will be your best friend. I just love the people who take care of me!!

Missed again

He missed the bed again. The only times he gets his whole body on the bed is bedtime. He sleeps like a dream dog. He has been spending the night on a bed beside the human bed and does not move all night.

A curious soul

Vail was very curious about this shopping cart. I saw no treat. I saw now bag of kibble. I saw no squeaky toys. What was so interesting. It was a 2 pound 6 month old Yorker in a soft crate. He has no curiosity about our small dog but how could something so small smell like a dog. After all almost all of his friends weigh 70 pounds.

What happening today?

I got to go on another ride today. It wasn’t very long but I had a better time with my head out the window. I had some surgery today and I’m not feeling my best. But I’ll bet I feel better tomorrow.

My first day

That’s the tip of my beautiful black nose you see. I’m pretty reserved right now. I never left the farm until yesterday. I took a vey long ride. Then some nice people did some not so nice things. I got a bath. They took all my blood. They micro-chipped me. (They told me that would help me get home if I got lost.) I got another ride and then met a cute girl greyhound and something they call a wire-hair daschund. It was a tiring day and I slept all night in my safe place - a crate.

They tell me I’m a good boy because I don’t pee in the house but they weren’t happy I peed on the deck. I won’t do that again.

I match the bed
