New place

I’m staying with a new foster family for the weekend and I’m an excellent house guest. Getting along well with other dogs and enjoying attention from new people.

Had a ton of fun today at the meet n greet at PetSmart!

Slam is so blissfully tired after a day full of meeting new people and new dogs that she couldn’t even write her own caption today

A little anxious about the loud thunderstorm :(

I’ve been hiding in a tight and safe space between foster moms nightstand and wall because I didn’t like the sound of the thunder. Even though it’s stopped thundering now, I’m still a little scared and hiding out in my crate. I’m not shaking or panting or freaking out, just hiding in small spaces that make me feel safe!

This is my majestic look

Loved playing outside in the small park foster mom has in her condo, but I am still pretty skiddish when I hear loud city noises like all the construction going on in her area or a big loud truck driving by.

First day with new foster Mom!

I just arrived to my “new” foster home who was out of town this past week, so I had been staying with another family until now! New foster Mom has a cat and a dog that I get along with nicely. I’m adjusting well, although I had an accident late last night before bed. I think I drank too much water while playing with the resident beagle.

I moved!

I asked Mom if she could take a nice picture of me since the last couple have been of me sleeping with my tongue hanging out. This evening a really nice lady came and I went to her house. I thought she was really nice and Mom told me she has a cat. What the heck is that?

It was a tough day

I went to a M&G today. I got to see Chloe and we compared notes on our foster family. She has a little girl who I really like. All the have here is a little dog who thinks he can catch a squirrel. Even I know they can climb trees and I can’t. I really like M&G but I need a week off.

My foster mom can’t type

Mom posted a blog spot tho morning. I was busy being petted so I told her to post it without proof reading. To set the record straight—I do NOT react when Gina or Pawsy get near me before I finish. I’m just too laid back to let that bother me. Just look at my picture. I just had dinner and I need a nap!!

I love being petted

Through the week Slammer he’s become very loving. She seeks out attention. This morning she told foster dad he had to stay home all day and pet her.

She sleeps in her crate all night without a problem. Each day we have been able to sleep a little later before she says it is turn out time. They sure do start early at the kennel. It was 4:30 am the first morning. Today it was 6:30 am.

Slammer has been eating at an elevated feeder and does react as the resident hound wanders by after finishing her meal

She loves playing with out small breed hound and will even allow him to sleep in the crate with her though we do not encourage this. It just happened and he did not get to stay long.

She’s been a perfect house guest and moves to her scheduled foster home on Sunday. Saturday she will be at Tractor Supply in Franklin to Meet & Greet her adoring pub

Am I small animal safe?

We have been having a good time playing all day. Now we will nap together. Pawsy was resting in the crate and Slammer decided to join him.

Slammer has been a great house guest. Plays well with others. Loves studies and squeaky toys. Sleeps well in crate though she prefers to keep the door open at night.
