TJ

TJ is a gentle, sweet, boy who represents all that’s special about dogs. TJ seeks to please. He seems eternally grateful. TJ has mastered all of the pet manners. Amazingly, his anxiety is largely in the past. Big hearted and resilient, TJ has blossomed into an amazing dog. Give him some time and he will steal your heart! And you’ll be glad he did.

Don’t Ask/Mr. Handsome

Looking for giant bundle of happy? That’s me. I love people and my crate and eating and hanging out with the pack. I also like watermelon, can you believe it? I know I look a little funny. Rumor is my mom nipped off part of my nose when I was a pup but I don’t remember it. Doesn’t affect me at all, tho in the winter a bit of Vaseline on it keeps it from chapping. Practical

Just arrived from Birmingham and boy are things looking up. I was in a home for a while but got returned because they said I chased the cat. Then they said I was cranky when they were cuddling me. Who knows what the real story is, right? Anyway, my foster people are really good to me and rub my belly when ever I ask. I love my crate and I walk very nicely on leash. I especially like laying out on the deck on a patio cushion. This is the life!

Tasha

Tasha is a super sweet hound that embodies the description Velcro dog. She has taken to life in a home like a champ. She would be great addition to a home with other greyhounds or a lone hound. She isn’t small dog or cat safe.

Troop Troop (Medical Hold)

Troop Troop is a calm, gentle, inquisitive hound who has never met a stranger. He grunts in contentment when you scratch just the right spot. He has limited vision due to a chronic eye condition that must be managed for the rest of his life. He will practically lay in your lap when it’s time for his medication (you could say he’s a trooper!). He is curious about small animals but is a-okay to cohabitate with them. He’s perfectly imperfect, and would love a family to open their hearts to him!

Hi, friends! I’m Benson! I’m a curious and fun-loving boy who loves to be loved! I know my name, and I love being close. I’m house trained, and I do well on my leash. I respond quickly to correction, and I’m learning to be a house hound very quickly. The only thing I like more than dinner is breakfast!

Hey Guys! I'm Holden, and I'm new to Nashville! I retired here from Birmingham. I ran in 95 races-not to shabby if I do say so myself! Likes: soft beds, ear scritches, and walks outside. Espie is a beautiful, sweet boy. Espie needs a special touch, patience and reassurance. Espie has an adorable “gaited”trot. Why jog when you can move like a fancy, gaited horse? Espie can’t imagine.

I'm a shy little girl with potential to become your newest best friend. I prefer the company of other greyhounds to build my confidence. I sleep through the night like a champ, crate well, and enjoy making foster mom laugh by trying to bury my food. I'm learning how to walk on a leash like a good girl. I'd love to meet you!

Nikki has never met a stranger. She is very friendly and very calm so everyone appreciates meeting her. She settled into her new home and yard without missing a beat.

Munch (Adopted)

Made the long ride to Nashvlle from the track in Charleston, WV this week.Track life was fun, but I'm really enjoying this home thing. I have a GH foster brother who has been teaching me the important stuff like going outside and walking on leash. I love riding in the Jeep with him. I'm crating pretty well and catching on to the rules of the house like staying off the furniture and playing with toys. I think I'll be a fabulous pet.
