kojac

Kojac
At age 10, Kojac should be peacefully curled up on his own bed and thoroughly spoiled by a family that loves him. Instead, through no fault of his own, Kojac is in search of a new home. He came from Pensacola in 2004. He was adopted soon after coming to Nashville, and has been in a loving home until circumstances forced his return. Kojac is settling well into his foster home, sleeps quietly, has very good house manne, and does well with kitties. He's really enjoying the companionship of other greyhounds.

Rock came in from Southland on 4/14. He has traveled from Memphis to Nashville in search of his very own family. This hounds was an exceptional A/AA/stakes racer in his 2 1/2 years of racing at Southland. He ran 115 races before a fall ended his career in December 2008. Rock will be a very good companion for a family with kids and other dogs, but he's not to be trusted with kitties. He's been waiting too long to find his very own family, and we just know there's a sofa out there with his name on it!

sandy

Sandy
Sandy came into our program at the end of last year and has been in a home since January. She is up for adoption again through no fault of her own. Sometimes your first job or home just doesn’t work out, and that was the case with Sandy. After trying out racing at St. Petersburg, then at Victoryland, and finally at Birmingham, Sandy made it clear that 35 races were enough! She’s now ready to embrace career #2 - a spoiled and much-loved couch potato! Sandy tested cat safe. She’s a little reserved but not really shy..

specs

Specs
Specs came from Birmingham on 5/18. He has been in a home about a month and is back in our program through no fault of his own. His registered name is Filigree, but he picked up the call name Specs. Maybe it's the speckled pattern on his tail. It looks like a tortoiseshell kitty! Specs ran 75 races at Raynham,Mass. and Birmingham. He is a quiet, laid back boy but will play in the yard. Specs is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. He has had no accidents in the house and is crated during the day. He does not seem to like being an only dog.
